Jacquard Pearl Ex is a safe, pearlescent, non-toxic, inert mica powder pigment that is stable and exhibits good colourfastness properties. Use these highly pigmented mica powders in epoxy resins, polyurethane resins and candles to create various effects. Or mix the mica powder with artist mediums such as oils, acrylics, encaustic, polymer clay, or spread dry on porous surfaces. Add shimmer to your candles by sprinkling the mica powder on the top of your finished candles. You can also dust them in your pillar candle moulds before pouring the wax in. Pearl Ex creates a metallic look without being a metal – it will not tarnish or fade.
