Description

Jelly Wax (Gel Wax):

  • Also known as gel wax
  • Clear and dimensionally stable jelly-like material
  • Melting point between 75°C and 85°C
  • Suitable for creating special effects and decorative container candles
  • Can be dyed, fragranced, and items embedded in it

Creating Floating Objects:

  • Pour the wax into different layers for floating effects
  • Faster pouring leads to more air bubbles
  • Ideal for beach scenes, aquariums, underwater scenes, etc.

Storage:

  • Will not expire if stored in a cool, dark, moisture-free place

CAUTION:

  • Test fragrances and essential oils for compatibility
  • Embedded items must be non-flammable
  • Melt wax on low constant heat under supervision

Typical Test Properties:

  • Melting Point: 80°C
  • Viscosity at 99°C: 450 cSt

Application Temperatures:

  • Hand Pouring Temperature: 100-130°C

SAFETY:

  • Use a double boiler to heat wax
  • Do not let the double boiler run dry
  • Never leave melting wax unattended
  • Use a thermometer and avoid overheating to prevent spontaneous combustion
  • Use pot holders and handle hot pots/containers carefully
  • Pour wax only into stable, heat-resistant containers

Never Add to Wax:

  • Vegetable matter, dried petals, coffee, herbs, wool, string, tea, potpourri, wood shavings, etc.
