We did not experience any acceleration or separation. The oils and water were slow to reach a light trace. We continued blending to a thick trace and there was no sign of the batter thickening or stiffening. The batter did turn a dark yellow once a light trace formed. After 24 hours, we observed the surface cracked open down the center but only ¾ of the soap loaf showed signs of reaching the gel phase. There was no sign of overheating in the area that did gel. The bars discolored to a dark tan and the scent was strong. After 30 days, the soap discolored to a dark brown and the scent remained strong.
